The haptic glove does not offer the typical VR experience. It allows visually impaired people to see art. Avatar VR was developed by neurodigital technologies. The gloves uses a combination of sensor fusion and haptic feedback technologies. The vibrotactile actuators respond to the texture and size of the art piece. It results in a totally interactive 3D effect created with the wearer.
Avatar VR is the newest and perhaps most effective (in comparison with the Gloveone from a few years before). The wireless controller is supported by an impressive combination of technologies: ultra-low latency via the Cortex M4 microprocessor, smart controller, Near Zero Drift Experience (NZDE) full finger tracking via the six 9-axis IMUs, haptic feedback via motion capture. By adding the movement tracking capability to the Avatar VR, the overall experienced is greatly enhanced.
Avatar VR is our newest wireless controller creation for Virtual Reality. As Gloveone was before, it has been designed to provide a realistic sense of touch to the users. The glove uses small vibrating motors at the tips of each finger to give the feeling that you are touching objects in the virtual world.
It has an extremely low footprint for PC and mobile devices. All calculations are done onboard making them a perfect companion for low specs and non-intensive graphics tasks and environments
