This robotic arachnid is well renowned with the name bionic wheel bot. Festo developed it; this robot is highly inspired by the flic flac spider, a highly agile animal. This animal can do somersaults through the Sahara desert.
However, this bot cannot do cartwheels but it can spring into the air. It has fifteen motors and fourteen automatic locking work gear units. The structure of this robot is quite small it is just twenty-five centimeter long. It can also retract into a ball for rolling around. The one, who discovered it, is constantly trying to make this robot a part of the technical field. This robot has eight legs out of which he uses six of them to walk. For every step, his three legs remain on the ground and another, three are lifted and remaining two legs help it in pushing forward just like a flic flac spider.
This robotic spider is soon going to be a part of the technology industry because of its extra high-quality features and advanced technology in it.
