Swedish design engineer Mikael Kjellman has created the vehicle that combines the concept of car and bicycle. It is known as Poldride. Kjellman’s 70-kg (154-lb) creation features four wheels for added stability, a waterproof fabric body mounted on an aluminum frame, and a seat height like a small car. Pedaling power is a 250-watt crankshaft-mounted motor, taking the PodRide to an electronically-limited top speed of 25 km/h (15.5 mph).
One charge of the onboard battery pack should be good for a motor-assisted range of about 60 km (37 miles).
PodRide is the all-weather, four-wheel e-bike, that looks like a car and allows you to cycle anywhere and everywhere. It is legal in most of the countries and is fun to Drive too.
It provides the most comfortable ride, improves the health, saves money and provides care to the environment. A user can adjust the level of assistance in this electric motor and allows traveling further, easier, and conquering the hills. Also, it is the most practical all-weather bike around.
There’s even room for a child passenger or your groceries. It has the capability to handle standard, paved or dirt roads. It has cushioned seats that give the feel of the sofa on wheels. Visibility is a key safety aspect in electric Pod Ride. It is very stable and quirky and enables you to take positive action to reduce your carbon footprint and make the world a better place.
